Mint Melon Mojito

Mint Melon Mojito
Mint Melon Mojito

Watermelon and grape are both high in water and very cleansing for the body. Some people choose to do watermelon fasts to shed excess weight and clear up their skin. We’re not huge fans of fasting unless your body calls you to do so, but having a few of these mojitos throughout the day will surely get things moving along, energize you and put a spring in your step. I love making recipes like this because they are party friendly and work well for anyone, even people who are far from being into the raw food scene.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen green grapes
  • 2 cups watermelon
  • 1 lime, peeled
  • 3-5 mint leaves

Instructions: Wash your grapes and freeze them in a glass container or ziplock bag. Shell out your watermelon with a spoon, add your frozen grapes, lime and mint and blend until smooth. Garnish with mint and serve in frosty glasses!

Substitutions:

  • Green Grapes: Red or Purple Grapes
  • Mint: Basil
