Your liver is constantly working hard to filter everything that comes into your body, excrete excess hormones and keep your body healthy. You can nourish your liver by juicing vegetables, removing processed foods from your diet, and getting to bed before 11p.m. Juicing is a fantastic way to free up some digestive energy in your body and allow the organs to cleanse and heal. Try this juice upon rising after a glass of warm lemon water, and then you can continue on with your usual routine.
- 2 small beets
- 1 fennel bulb
- 2 carrots
- 1 lime
Instructions: Wash your organic produce and run through your juice. This recipe doesn’t blend well, so make sure you’re using a juicer, not a blender. Consume right away, or store for up to 24 hours. If you want to store this juice for longer, freeze it.
