Raw BBQ Pizza

Raw Vegan BBQ Sauce Pizza

Raw Vegan BBQ Sauce Pizza

Equipment: Vitamix or High Speed Blender, Food processor, Dehydrator (you can also buy dehydrated crackers or use a portabello mushroom as a base if you’re short on time).

I purchased the crackers from Organic Lives, and since dehydrated cabbage doesn’t sit well in calebs’ stomach, he opted for a portabello mushroom base instead. We had 4 non- raw foodies in the house try this recipe and got amazing reviews! When you’re craving pizza, this is the perfect alternative that will leave you feeling light and refreshed rather then heavy, tired and greasy.

BBQ Sauce:

1 cup soaked sundried tomatos

2 tsp coconut sugar or 1-2 dates

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup gluten free and vegan worschester sauce

1/2 tsp himalayan salt

1/3 purple onion chopped

black ground pepper to taste

Walnut Cheese:

2 cups soaked walnuts

1 cup soaked sundried tomatoes

1/3 tsp himalayan salt

Toppings:

Green pepper

Mushroom

Purple Onion

Pineapple

You can play with this recipe and add more veggies if you like! :)

I bought the crackers from Organic Lives because we were short on time, so here’s a recipe I found on raw guru if you’d like to make your own. Pizza Crust Recipe: http://www.rawguru.com/recipe12.html
