Drinking water is one of the easiest ways to flush excess toxins from your body. Not only that, but drinking water supports memory, focus, energy, the brain and all other organs in the body. I like to add flavor to my water once in a while to make things more fun. Adding citrus creates an alkalizing effect on the body, so this simple recipe is great for your skin as well!
- 1 lime
- 1 lemon
- 1-2 mint or basil leaves
- 2-3 drops vanilla stevia
- 2 cups water (16 0z)
Instructions: Squeeze your lemon and lime juice into the water, add your stevia and herbs and enjoy. You can slice a few wedges of the lemon and lime to include in your water glass, over-time this will add more citrus flavor.
