Almond butter and jelly lover? Take your obsession to the next level by making a healthy raw version of jam, sans the added white sugar that’s often lurking in store bought jams. This recipe is for blackberry jelly, though you can use any fruit you like. Spread it on gluten-free bread, raw bread, or even with some lettuce, banana and almond butter for a raw friendly version of a traditional recipe. You could even use this as a filling for a raw pie, tart or gluten-free cookie. Oh the joys of playing in the kitchen, the possibilities are endless!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup blackberries (or other berry)
- 2 tbsp. raw honey
- 2 tbsp. chia seeds
Instructions: Blend together gently and allow to sit for 5 minutes until a gel like consistency is formed.
