There are quite a few raw plant-based protein powders popping up on the scene now so I thought I’d share one of our favourite brands and a green smoothie recipe with you. It’s important to select your super foods and protein powders with a few factors in mind, where they are sourced from, are they sustainable? Who’s behind the company, and of course make sure the ingredients are quality.
Vanilla SunWarrior Protein is a great option. Here’s one of my new green smoothie recipes that kind of tastes like drinking vanilla cake batter… so yea if you don’t like vanilla cake batter this one’s not for you. If on the other hand, you crave vanilla cupcakes – you might wanna give this one a whirl.
- 1 Frozen Bananas
- 3 Cups Spinach
- 1 tbsp. Spirulina
- 1 scoop Sunwarrior Vanilla Protein
- 1 tsp. Maca
- 2 cups coconut water
- *1 cup water optional
