Green smoothie combinations are endless, and the fun is all in creating unique flavors and pairing ingredients together to get certain benefits. In this smoothie, you’ve got a handful of veggies and herbs that lend themselves to detox, and healthy skin. Parsley is a blood cleansing herb which means great things for the skin. You’ve also got some ginger, to counteract the cooling properties of this drink.
Bust out your blenders, it’s smoothie time…
- 1/2 pear
- 1 handful parsley
- 1 inch piece of ginger
- 1/2 rib of celery
- 1/2 lime
- 1 cup water or coconut water
Instructions: Wash and chop your produce, blend on high until smooth.
